Village Village

I am an economist at Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) under the Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC) at the World Bank.

I am a development economist with interests in agriculture, labor, and political economy. My passion lies in understanding the causes of poverty and linking my research findings to policies that can improve the lives of the poor in developing countries. My research seeks to identify sources of inefficiency in markets and to find technological solutions to improve the functioning of those markets. I received a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University and a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
